Website Redesign for Ray Lopez Company Inc.

About

Ray Lopez Company, Inc. is a family-owned pool maintenance business established in 1986. For decades, they have been providing Connecticut with reliable and professional pool maintenance.

Design Task

As masters of their trade, Ray Lopez Company, Inc. needed a website to accurately represent that expertise and to meet and greet customers not just through word of mouth, but where new and existing customers already are: online.

Solution

I met with the stakeholders individually to get a true understanding of hierarchy, and execute on it.

I used dynamic modules to condense the page and allow for as much detail as possible to explain services to someone who may not already be familiar with the brand. I also rerouted the domain hosting and forwarding to simplify the business administration required of the small team.

Original Site

This is the website the company was working with. It functions solely as a landing page, and is missing information about the company, including the number after “License #” and images of their work, ways to work with them, and any details about why a person should hire them.

Redesigned Website

Before processing the headline, one already understands the context of the site one has landed on. This refresh features a real customer’s pool above the fold and provides ways of booking services and learning more about each available service.
