Pixar X Bombas Package Design and Art Direction
Design Task
Create custom gift boxes using Pixar artwork while maintaining Bombas brand standards and incorporating both brands’ visual and voice identity.
Work with the product design team to utilize CAD drawings in artwork in keeping with Pixar’s standards.
Collaborate with photoshoot team to execute playful yet clean imagery to represent the collection on marketing assets.
Solution
Sometimes, simple is the best. Despite many much more complex sketches and mockups I created, this simple grid of the beloved characters like Buzz, Woody, and Wall-E speaks for itself. The sides and inside of the box abstract and collage pieces of each character into one design.
